La Paz Tour
The Complete Experience around Southern Baja towns in Mexico !..
Since day one La Paz Tour it's been along with us, regarding to the coverage it has on many towns located by the highway roads of southern baja and the great time we spent on La Paz itself.
As "The Motorcycle Diaries" movie, this trip also expresses such a similar feeling on how we encounter excitement while moving towards the road. Since it's a long trip, we only have the time to past by some of the towns mentioned on the further highlights list.
In La Paz Tour we start early in the morning taking the east highway road that goes from San Jose del Cabo to La Paz . In the begining part of the this our, we pass by a few towns (not mentioned here) while heading to the east side coast, where Buena Vista and Los Barriles are. At this point, the road actually meets the Sea of Cortez for the first time, which is also the begining of the Gulf of California.
While the beautiful views at the gulf and the desert landscapes are seeing during a period of time, our journey slowly return inland up to the lower part of the sierra mountains, where San Bartolo's mining towns: El Truinfo and San Antonio are located.
Later after passing those mentioned towns, we get to the point where the Pacific side highway joins ours and close the gap; forming a "Y" style road 20 kilometers before getting to La Paz.
Once we visit the many attractions of beautiful La Paz and after enjoying a lunch by the bay, just in front of its "Malecon", we begin our tour back to Cabo San Lucas.
Using the Pacific side highway in this occasion for our return, we prepare to head our next and last stop at Todos Santos. Since Todos Santos is located 60 miles away from La Paz, you'll have the chance to enjoy the views or "the precious after lunch nap".
After getting a quick but nice stop at the famous "Hotel California" or any other place you'd like here at Todos Santos, the final ride of our tour begins. This last part happen to be quite special, considering the georgous sunset views usually seen at the Pacific Ocean side during the afternoon!....
